  1. absolutely delicious – perhaps I can make these without the lard that is so typically called for in tamale recipes…

    1. +Suproctologo Orozco would you please make a video and show how you make tamales? would you use a leaf or corn husk (fresh or dried than soaked)? Do you use meat, fruit, vegetables, cheeses or with a sweet treat…? How do you cook your tamales: over an open fire, double boiler, crock pot (slow cooker) oven….?

  2. Do not eat pork, so i use vegetable oil instead of lard. Pig never welcomed in our home, and better health.

  3. I BOUGHT EL GUAPO CORN HUSK. SOAKED THEM FOR 1 HOUR AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT BEND. SO CAN SOMEONE TELL ME THE BEST BRAND OF CORN HUSK TO BUY? THANKS

  4. Would tamales be good for breakfast? …if so? what else should I combine
    ex: apples, milk, Greek yogurt!😗

  5. I’ll bet they are tasty, though not at all authentic to the recipes I’ve known my whole life. Different masa texture, different flavor.

  6. I like that you included a measured recipe. Just my opinion but I prefer verbal instructions for projects. I’m sure your tamales are great! Don’t mean to be critical, just my constructive criticism.
